MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) - Belarus has adjusted the development program for the Pripyat Polesie regions for 2025-2030. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

The adjustment to the program allows for the inclusion of fully funded projects and initiatives, the effects of which will be noticeable to the residents of Pripyat Polesie by the middle of the five-year period.

The resolution provides for aligning the values of indicators and performance targets with official statistical information, adjusting specific indicators and targets up to 2030 based on the achieved level. It also includes detailing the target indicators for the development of the Pripyat Polesie regions and the indicators for restoring and enhancing industrial potential in 2026-2029. It also involves specifying the names, volumes, and sources of funding for individual investment projects and initiatives, as well as replacing them based on substantiated proposals received from state governing bodies and other organizations subordinate to the Government of Belarus.

The text of the program is supplemented with a provision on expanding the practice of transferring (selling) low-productivity lands, unused real estate properties, or ineffective agricultural organizations to farms (under specific obligations), as well as a section on preserving biological and landscape diversity.
