MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the staff and veterans of the Belarusian potash producer Belaruskali as they celebrate their professional holiday – Miner's Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that potash production is a brand of Belarus and one of the most important sectors in the country’s economy. Belarusian fertilizers hold key positions in exports and help farmers in other countries achieve consistently high yields, ensuring their food security, the president emphasized.
“We are sincerely proud of our miners – courageous and professional people who, generation after generation, fearlessly descend into the depths of the earth and bring to the surface our domestic ‘red gold’,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state is convinced that the development strategy chosen by Belaruskali will contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks facing the industry and to the further strengthening of the economy.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished all miners of Belarus good health, prosperity, and the realization of their boldest plans.
