MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to Egypt President Abdel Farrah el-Sisi who has turned 70, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The country under your leadership has a strong and constructive voice in the region, actively promoting de-escalation of tensions and finding peaceful solutions to conflicts. Establishing a just world order, security and stability are of paramount importance for Belarus as well. I hope that the situation in the Middle East will soon allow you to pay an official visit to Minsk,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
According to the head of state, during the personal meeting the parties will be able not only to discuss further development of important joint projects that have already been successfully implemented with the support of the president of Egypt, but also to outline prospects for cooperation in new areas, such as peaceful uses of nuclear energy, application of the latest technologies for construction of smart cities and many others.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah al-Sisi strong health and wise decisions in his responsible state activity for the benefit of Egypt.
