MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated member of the Belarusian national biathlon team Anton Smolski on winning the Men's 20km Individual silver at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, BelTA has learned.
“This season you entered the world elite biathlon and got on the podium at the 2022 Games. The Olympic medal, won in an uncompromising struggle with the world's strongest athletes, is a great success for you, the team and the entire country,” the message of greetings runs.
The president wished the athlete strong health, good luck and new victories.
