Lukashenko comments on self-exiled opposition’s calls to vote against all

MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko commented on the self-exiled opposition’s calls to vote against all in the upcoming presidential election in Belarus as he spoke during a meeting with his authorized representatives in Minsk on 3 January, BelTA has learned.

“Of course, our self-exiled opposition has already been inciting the West. You can see their policy as they call to vote against all. The voting is yet to start, some candidates still may withdraw from the race and so on, but they have already been calling to vote against all. We have not seen the candidates’ electoral programs yet, but they have already been calling to vote against all. Well, this is their business, their right to speak so. It is easy to spread such calls from abroad. They’d better come here and participate in the election. The conditions for coming here have been explained several times already,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

“There is no abuse, no political prisoners here. I am, as President, not going to pressurize anyone. This is an election campaign. This is a presidential election. People should decide everything they see fit here. As I said before: as you have made your choice, let us work,” the head of state emphasized.
