MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – Sanctions have a very strong impact on the European economies, member of the Communist Party of Switzerland Davide Rossi told reporters in Minsk on 6 July, BelTA has learned.
"I would like to note that at the moment the sanctions are not hurting Russia and Belarus in fact. The two countries have managed to find new markets," said Davide Rossi.
However, sanctions have a very strong impact on the economies of European countries, he noted. Not only Switzerland, but throughout Europe. By October we will run out of gas, food resources. There will be problems with heating. I am sure that this terrible situation that is developing in Europe will make them finally realize the errors of their policy, he stressed.
Members of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives are meeting with member of the Communist Party of Switzerland Davide Rossi. Professor Davide Rossi came to Belarus to take part in Independence Day celebrations. In addition, he is set to visit government agencies of Belarus and to meet with the leadership of the Communist Party of Belarus to discuss ways to promote Belarus-Switzerland dialogue.
