MOSCOW, 17 October (BelTA) – Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas is expected to pay a visit to Tajikistan on 17 October to hold meetings with the political and military leadership of the country, BelTA learned from CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zainetdinov.
“During the visit, the CSTO secretary general is also set to take part in a high-level Conference on International and Regional Border Security and Management Co-operation to Counter Terrorism and Prevent the Movement of Terrorists, jointly organized by the UN Office for Counter-Terrorism, the Government of Tajikistan, the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, OSCE and EU. The event is due to take place in Dushanbe on 18-19 October,” the spokesman added.
