CIS experts discuss cooperation in fight against crime

MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) - The CIS headquarters hosted a regular meeting of the expert group for further elaboration of the draft concept to develop information exchange between the competent bodies of the CIS member states and the CIS bodies in security and law enforcement in the fight against crime, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The event was held via video conference. It was attended by experts from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Border Troops Commanders Council, the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs, the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, the Bureau for Coordination of Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime on the Territory of CIS Member States, the Secretariat of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States, the Coordination Service of the Council of Border Troops Commanders, and representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views and decided to suspend further work on the draft document.
