ISTANBUL, 2 November (BelTA) – At the conclusion of the 18th Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Istanbul, participants advocated for dialogue to replace bloc-based confrontation, BelTA has learned.
The forum’s founder, Professor Antonio Fallico (Italy), President of the Conoscere Eurasia Association, remarked: “Our forum runs counter to the general trend in international relations and is not aimed at division or political, ideological, and cultural confrontation between blocs. Geopolitical instability may define our today’s world, but Eurasia seeks a different future. Entrepreneurs don’t like unpredictability; what our community seeks is stability and universal prosperity.”
He emphasized that the leitmotif of the event was a call for dialogue. “The problem is that the parties often don’t communicate. Success is achieved when there is discussion, even if it’s very heated, when the parties acknowledge their disagreements but work together to overcome problems through joint efforts,” Antonio Fallico noted.
“We must say: enough is enough, we need to start listening to each other. This is important not only for world peace, but also for achieving economic progress,” emphasized the president of the Conoscere Eurasia Association.
Held on 30-31 October, the forum brought together approximately 1,000 politicians, executives, academics, and experts from over 30 countries. The event was organized by the Conoscere Eurasia Association with the support of the Roscongress Foundation.
