MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) - Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekreta met with Head of the Delegation for Russia and Belarus for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Frank Mohrhauer on 23 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed a wide range of areas of cooperation between Belarus and the Federation, as well as considered ways to potentially intensify their bilateral interaction. During the meeting, the importance of further joint work on humanitarian projects aimed at supporting various vulnerable population groups was highlighted.
The parties exchanged views on the humanitarian situation in the region and the world, as well as on approaches to current issues on the multilateral agenda.
