Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik
MOSCOW, 24 September (BelTA) - Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik shared details of the upcoming talks between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin, BelTA has learned.
“The bilateral agenda of the leaders is always extensive. It includes international issues, the protection of the domestic market within the Union State [of Belarus and Russia], a unified industrial policy, and the oil and gas sector. The presidents always have a lot to discuss. It should be noted that today there are no unsolvable problems with the Russian Federation,” the ambassador said.
As BelTA previously reported, Aleksandr Lukashenko will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation on 25-26 September, where he is set to take part in the international forum World Atomic Week and hold a bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin. “The two leaders will coordinate positions on the most pressing issues of Belarusian-Russian relations and discuss the regional situation and the international agenda,” the Belarusian leader’s press service noted.
