MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – Beltamozhservice has launched a new multimodal service from Belarus to Türkiye, the company’s press service told BelTA.
The service involves dispatching container trains with consolidated cargo via the Port of Novorossiysk. The trains are assembled at the Minsk-Beltamozhservice-2 transport and logistics center in Kolyadichi. From Novorossiysk, cargo is shipped by sea to the Turkish port of Gebze, near Istanbul in the Gulf of Izmit.
Gebze is a major logistics and industrial hub that facilitates both international shipping and domestic trade, playing a significant role in transit between Europe and Asia. The port features modern infrastructure, including inland container terminals, warehouses, and logistics centers, and is well-connected to key highways and railways. Its strategic location and developed facilities make it a critical link in Türkiye’s supply chain.
“The first cargo has already been dispatched along this route,” the press service stated.
Beltamozhservice has been designated as the consolidator for transporting export cargo by rail to seaports, sea ferries, port terminals, and railway stations, acting as the shipper for shipments to countries in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
