Belinterexpo to showcase nearly 40 expositions in 2025

MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) - Belinterexpo plans to present about 40 expositions at international exhibitions in 2025, Director of the Belinterexpo enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Natalya Kurash said during a press conference at the Minsk International Exhibition Center, BelTA has learned.

In 2024, Belinterexpo arranged 29 expositions. “In 2023, we showcased our expositions in 15 countries. In 2024 it was already in 18 countries. Last year, more than 380 enterprises visited these exhibitions and signed about 115 documents at the expositions arranged by Belinterexpo,” Natalya Kurash said.

This year, Belinterexpo intends to expand the geography of participation. “We plan to hold about 40 events. Our calendar changes quarterly, because we have always learned about new interesting international projects. Most importantly, we choose the region that can be interesting, useful and economically beneficial for the Belarusian enterprise thanks to their feedback. The Made in Belarus brand, which we have patented, is already known in many countries of the world,” the Belinterexpo director noted.

The enterprise also plans to take part in traditional exhibition projects in 2025. “We traveled to Tanzania and Saudi Arabia for the first time in 2024. We will discover new regions of Asia and Africa this year. We seek to increase the visibility of Belarusian products in China, not only in Beijing and Shanghai,” Natalya Kurash emphasized.

She added that choosing an exhibition event for a Belarusian display, Belinterexpo first pays attention to the number of participants from different countries. “We are working with international organizers. We want to go to Nigeria one more time(we are now working with enterprises), to Zimbabwe. The pool of exhibitors is almost formed. Ethiopia and Namibia are new destinations for us, with which we are currently negotiating. We also want to return to Tanzania. We are in talks with the Uganda exhibition organizers over our participation in the second half of the year. This year, we also want to participate in exhibitions in the Philippines and Thailand for the first time. We are now waiting for confirmation from the organizers,” the director shared the plans.

Plans are in place to hold two national expositions this year: at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai and at the multi-sectoral exhibition in Equatorial Guinea, scheduled for December 2025.
