
MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – MTZ’s dealer will open a multi-brand center in Primorye Territory of Russia in September of this year, the fourth one in Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian tractor maker MTZ.
“Setting up multi-brand centers is a promising way of promoting Belarusian products in Russia. At the moment, we operate three multi-brand centers: two at our trading houses MTZ-Tatarstan and MTZ-Siberia, one at the VelCom holding company in Omsk Oblast. In September of this year, we are planning to open a multi-brand center at the Minsk Tractors in Primorye Territory company,” said Mikhail Vardugin, Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs in the CIS Markets, Head of Promotion and Sale in the CIS at MTZ.
Moreover, work is in progress on organizing unified sales and service centers for Belarusian equipment in Tyumen Oblast and Voronezh Oblast. The plant noted that Russia is one of its key sales markets. Today, MTZ operates five entities of its distribution network in Russia and has more than 90 dealers selling its products.
Minsk Tractor Works is the management company of the MTZ Holding Company, registered on 1 August 2014. Apart from Minsk Tractor Works, MTZ Holding Company operates 15 open joint-stock companies. Minsk Tractor Works produces wheeled agricultural tractors with an engine capacity of 57-364hp, forwarders, loading and unloading machines, skidders, forestry machinery and utility vehicles, loaders, universal chassis.
