MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – Belarusian oil refineries are about to secure steady profits as from Q4 2025. Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi made the statement on the air of the TV channel Belarus One after a trip to Russia’s Rostov Oblast and Stavropol Territory, BelTA has learned.
Speaking about shipments of energy resources and prices for them, Dmitry Krutoi remarked that this matter would be addressed at the level of the heads of state of Belarus and Russia. “There are proposals regarding a three-year or five-year contract. But I wouldn’t want to get ahead of myself. Those would be comfortable conditions in any case. They would allow keeping competitive rates for industrial consumers and for the households that use natural gas. As for the oil market, we’ve signed all the agreements. Two oil refineries of ours have started processing oil supplied by customers. Oil products are getting shipped to Russia. Something sells on export markets. Something we consume. This is why taking into account the implementation of this scheme our two refineries are about to secure steady profits as from the fourth quarter of the year,” the head of the Belarus President Administration said.
He stressed that the task set by the president – to secure 7-8% profitability at Belarusian oil refineries taking into account the large investment program that was carried out in previous years – will be fulfilled. “I think our oil refining industry feels confident and calm,” Dmitry Krutoi concluded.
