MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) - A Belarusian delegation studied Rosatom’s experience in the field of digitalization of housing and utilities services, BelTA learned from the Russian state corporation.
Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions (RIS) demonstrated the operation of a digital urban resource supply management system in action. The meeting to exchange experience was held in Glazov, Udmurtia in the dispatch center of a RIS subsidiary company operating the city's heat, water supply and sewerage systems. The Belarusian delegation included Aleksandr Mekin, the director of the housing and utilities services enterprise of Ostrovets, Grodno Oblast, and chief engineer Valery Grishkevich.
The software and hardware complex "Digital Resource Supply" has been in operation in Glazov for the third year. Digitalization made it possible to improve the quality of services for households, including by reducing the number of disruptions in the water or heat supply, reducing maintenance downtime, remote monitoring of equipment operation. Consumption of water, electricity and other resources is continuously analyzed using artificial intelligence.
RIS experts showed the Belarusian delegation how the system and the dispatch center operate. Thanks to modern solutions, the dispatcher monitors the operation of equipment and the pipeline complex, maintenance crews, the fulfillment of service requests from consumers in real time, and also takes prompt measures in case of any deviations from the standard indicators.
Belarus and Russia signed a comprehensive program of cooperation in the field of nuclear non-energy and non-nuclear projects in March 2024. The document was signed by Rosatom State Corporation and the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus. The program includes both ongoing projects and long-term tasks aimed at developing economic and technological ties between Belarus and Russia. The comprehensive program includes seven areas of cooperation, one of them is the creation and implementation of projects in the field of digitalization and telecommunications.
