MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – In H1 2025 the Belarusian heavy truck manufacturer BelAZ acquired 42 units of modern high-precision equipment, the company’s press service told BelTA.
The total volume of fixed-capital investments exceeded Br100 million, which is nearly twice as much as in H1 2024. Out of this total about Br70 million was spent on buying cutting-edge machines and equipment, including welding machines, heat-cutting machines, metal-cutting machine tools and forge-and-pressing ones, numerically-controlled machining centers, machines for applying metal coatings and painting, hoisting machines, and other things.
At present BelAZ is implementing a number of large-scale investment projects designed to renew the manufacturing facilities and improve the competitive ability of the products the company makes. “The introduction of advanced equipment in various departments of the enterprise makes manufacturing flexible, allowing to promptly master new kinds of products and guarantee the highest quality and reliability of our machines. In turn, it helps enhance BelAZ’s positions on the world market,” the press service noted.
