Belarus shifts from Chernobyl response to sustainable development
Thanks to joint efforts on the Chernobyl power plant accident agenda, Belarus has moved from emergency response to sustainable development of the affected regions, UN Resident Coordinator in Belarus Rasul Baghirov said at a Council for Sustainable Development session dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
