MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) - Belarusian enterprises have presented their products at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair 2026 (ZITF) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on 20-25 April, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo, an exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

"One of the key regions for developing trade and economic cooperation is the African continent. Every year, Belarus steadily expands the geography of its goods showcased at major exhibitions in African countries. Among the most significant events for Belarusian manufacturers is Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo which takes place on 20-25 April this year,” representatives from Belinterexpo noted.
ZITF 2026 brings together over 400 exhibitors from around 30 countries, including China, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, representatives of European Union countries and African regions. The main motto of the event: "Connected Economies, Competitive Industries" underscores the priorities for developing interstate partnership in a number of areas: from agriculture and mechanical engineering to medicine and science.
“Belarus is one of the most anticipated participants at the fair. Belarusian products are in high demand in the region, both among the public sector and private sector. At the same time, ZITF attracts leading companies from across Africa and facilitates industrial, cultural, tourism, and investment partnerships. The Belarusian exposition is an effective showcase where visitors can learn about products, as well as hold negotiations and meetings with partners,” representatives from Belinterexpo noted.

A special presentation zone for enterprises and organizations that are members of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been organized within ZITF 2026, as well as a thematic area dedicated to the upcoming international industrial exhibition INNOPROM.Belarus, which will take place in Minsk from 30 September to 2 October 2026.

Every year, the growing number of contracts and agreements at ZITF leads to an increase in Belarusian exports to Zimbabwe. Taking into account market needs and regional demand, the Belarusian pavilion at the 2026 trade fair features developments in specialized equipment, cargo vehicles, comprehensive solutions for automating technological processes and systems, including offerings for the municipal sector, agriculture, energy, and food industries.

The business week at ZITF 2026 includes business meetings and negotiations with foreign partners and representatives of companies.
