MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Fencing Championship has kicked off at the Chizhovka Arena in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Taking part in the event are the best athletes from all regions of the country and the city of Minsk.
Among the fencers who have already clinched medals are Maksim Maruk from Minsk Oblast, Sergei Ladoshkin from Mogilev Oblast, Aleksei Hurs from Minsk, Dmitry Rykunov from Grodno Oblast, Yekaterina Posherneva from Gomel Oblast, Kseniya Tomashevskaya from Minsk Oblast, Mikhalina Grinkevich from Minsk Oblast and Irina Prosentsova from Gomel Oblast.
The tournament will feature 12 medal events.
