West accused of massing offensive military forces at Belarusian border

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – The West continues forming an offensive fist, not a defensive one near the Belarusian border, BelTA learned from Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Pertsov.

Vladimir Pertsov stressed that the Military Doctrine and the National Security Concept adopted by the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress are extremely up-to-date documents. “They are important due to the fact that an offensive fist made of weapons and a 300,000 men strong army is being concentrated to the west of our country. An offensive army, not a defensive one,” he said. “All the nonsense they are trying to sell us by claiming these forces will repulse migrants, essentially those poor people, who are trying to get over the fence and into Europe in order to mainly live with their relatives, families, who had moved there previously upon the invitation of Merkel and other heads of ‘democratic’ countries while fleeing from military conflicts in their countries. Such a combat fist is not being concentrated against these poor people. An armed hot conflict is in progress in the south. Armed forces are also being concentrated along the perimeter over there.”

The deputy head of the Belarus President Administration mentioned the importance of broadly discussing these documents of strategic importance for the country. “All the people need to hear and understand what is going on and should be ready to rise up shoulder to shoulder in order to defend our native Belarus,” he added.

“The National Security Concept and the Military Doctrine were put forward and passed unanimously in a very timely manner. These are fundamental documents for the defense and for the life of our country,” Vladimir Pertsov stated.
