MOSCOW, 29 March (BelTA) – Cosmonauts staying at the International Space Station (ISS) have started preparing the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft for the return flight to Earth, BelTA learned from the press service of the Russian space agency Roscosmos.

Belarus’ first cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya, the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, and the NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson are expected to get back to Earth on board Soyuz MS-24 on 6 April.

The cosmonauts tended to the crew vehicles Soyuz MS-24 and Soyuz MS-25. Individual gear and seat liners were replaced. The loading mode of the shock absorbers of the seats was changed. They completed an inter-board hardware test of the Kurs-MKP rendezvous system of the functional cargo block Zarya with the Kurs-NA system of the Soyuz MS-24 spaceship.
