MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – Belavia is preparing documents for a joint use of the Minsk-Zaporizhia flight, Deputy Director General for Marketing and Foreign Trade at Belavia Airline Igor Cherginets told media on 14 December, BelTA has learned.
“The flight is operated by the Ukrainian air company Motor Sich. A number of agreements with this air carrier have already been signed. More documents pending signing. I hope we will jointly use this flight in the near future,” the official said.
On 19 December Motor Sich will launch a daily flight from Zaporizhia to Minsk. Flights are currently operated four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Founded in 1984, the Motor Sich airline is a structural subdivision of the public joint stock company Motor Sich, one of the world's leading companies in the development, production and maintenance of aviation gas-turbine engines for airplanes and helicopters as well as industrial gas turbine installations. The airline operates nine aircraft. Zaporizhia International Airport is the basic airport of the Motor Sich airline. The air company performs regular flights from Zaporizhia to Kiev, from Kiev to Uzhgorod, and also charter flights around the world.
