MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – The draft agreement on visa-free travel between Belarus and Thailand is under discussion in Bangkok, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said while holding “a consular day” on Facebook, BelTA has learned.
“The work is underway. At present, the draft agreement we proposed is being studied by Bangkok. We are waiting for their response,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
They added that Thailand has a diplomatic mission in Russia and its ambassador has a concurrent accreditation to Belarus. However, there is an honorary consulate of Thailand in Minsk and it receives visa applications.
Visa-free travel between the two countries is currently available for holders of diplomatic and service passports.More about Politics
