Belarus, Iran reaffirm willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation

MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – Belarus and Iran have reaffirmed their willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On 28 August, Belarusian Ambassador to Iran Yuri Lazarchik presented his credentials to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. “The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Belarusian-Iranian interaction and reaffirmed their willingness to advance bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic area,” the press service said.

Hassan Rouhani emphasized the traditionally friendly nature of the bilateral relations and stressed Iran's commitment to the agreements reached at the highest level.
