MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Guatemala are determined to intensify bilateral contacts in various spheres, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the course of his visit to Cuba Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala Carlos Ramiro Martinez Alvarado. The diplomats discussed the ways to boost trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and expressed interest in intensifying bilateral contacts in various spheres.
The parties also signed an intergovernmental agreement on abolishing visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
