Yegorov: Belarus is likely to beat investment growth target in 2024

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) -  In 2023, the failure to meet the investment growth target was associated with the slow launch of investment projects, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Aleksandr Yegorov said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel on 28 April, BelTA has learned.

"In 2024, things look much better. This year, we are implementing the initiatives such as One District - One Project and the related target plan of the government, import-substituting integration projects with the Russian Federation, and the state investment program,” he said.

“In addition. the law on investments will come into force in the second half of the year. It provides for a number of benefits for investors. Many investors, I think, are waiting for the law to come into force and to receive the benefits. I believe that all prerequisites are in place to meet the investment target this year or event beat it," Aleksandr Yegorov emphasized.
