MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – One company will be in charge of providing utilities in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA learned from Kirill Koroteyev, First Deputy Director General of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, on 29 September.
The executive noted: “We are now finishing the infrastructure and commissioning it. All the utilities will be provided by one company, which is being established. It is kind of an experiment, a know-how for Belarus.”
Kirill Koroteyev also mentioned other things that will make the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone different from other zones with special economic rules. In particular, apart from the development of the production sector and the services sphere homes will be built in the park. A center for developing innovations and technologies will be established there as well.
According to the source, the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is positioned as one of the key elements of the new Silk Road. The park complies with the One Belt, One Road strategy. “As part of this strategy we are busy creating the largest logistics hub in Belarus. Logistics premises have already been built on an area of 28ha. An exhibition center is being built as well. The project will get off the ground by the end of the year,” stated Kirill Koroteyev.
