Mozyr Oil Refinery gets first batch of Azerbaijani oil

MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – The first batch of Azerbaijani oil has been delivered to Mozyr Oil Refinery, Sergei Krot, Acting Director General of Mozyr Oil Refinery, told BelTA.

“Mozyr Oil Refinery begins to process the first batch of Azerbaijani oil purchased to enable the plant to operate at its full capacity. The refinery has received the first rail tankers with Azerbaijani oil,” Sergei Krot said.

The 84,700 tonne batch was first shipped from the Supsa port to the Odessa port, and then transloaded to rail tankers and delivered to Mozyr via Ukraine. The shipment was carried out by the trading division of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).

Mozyr Oil Refinery is capable of processing various grades of oil.
