Minsk Tractor Works plans to increase exports by 10% in 2017

MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) plans to increase its exports by more than 10% as against 2016. The information is posted on the official website of the Belarusian Industry Ministry, BelTA has learned.

The MTZ dealerships based in the European Union have recently held a conference in Vilnius. The event summed up the results of their work in 2016, marketing strategy priorities and mechanisms for the promotion of Belarusian tractors in the EU market in 2017. Apart from selling MTZ products, the dealerships are set to further improve their service systems.

MTZ Director General Fyodor Domotenko emphasized that the priorities for 2017 include retooling and modernization of the production facilities. The company will also work to keep a strong foothold in its markets and enter new ones, and also develop a wide and diversified sales and post-sale maintenance network.

Apart from that, the conference announced new appointments. For instance, it presented the new directors of the dealerships in Poland and Latvia.
