Belkommunmash to take part in tender to supply 100+ vehicles to Ukraine

KIEV, 20 July (BelTA) – The mechanical engineering company Belkommunmash will soon take part in the tenders to supply over 100 units of equipment to Ukraine, Belkommunmash Director General Vladimir Korol told the media, BelTA has learned.

“Our product range has been refreshed almost 100%. We got down to active work last year. We won several tenders in late 2016. This year we won a large tender to deliver 47 vehicles to Odessa. The relevant contract was signed just last week. There are plans in some regions to partake in the tenders to supply another hundred units of equipment,” the director general said.

He stressed that an assembly plant has already been opened in Ukraine and relevant paperwork completed. “We are now certified to sell in Ukraine. This is now much easier for us to work here. All this opens up exciting prospects for us,” Vladimir Korol remarked.

He added that in general the current situation in the Ukrainian market is favorable. Belarus-Ukraine top-level relations have contributed to it, too.

“The reputation of Belarus' equipment has traditionally been good here, and will remain so. In general, the situation in the market holds great promise for our manufacturers. Today we need to be striving for quality and, certainly, for new solutions,” Vladimir Korol summarized.
