MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – There are plans to invest over €9 million in modernizing mechanical assembly operations at Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) soon. It has to be done in order to increase the output of powerful machines and vehicles, the MTZ press service told BelTA.

In particular, the company intends to buy a laser complex, a parts washer, and an automatic system for storing metal sheets for shop No.91 this year. Shop No.92 needs all kinds of grinding equipment as well as turning equipment and gear production machines. The company intends to buy several vertical milling machines and horizontal machining centers for shop No.96 in the future.
