Tickets for European Figure Skating Championships in Minsk to range from Br5 to Br50

MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Tickets for the 2019 ISU European Figure Skating Championships due in Minsk on 21-27 January will range from Br5 to Br50, head of the Belarusian Skating Union Yulia Komleva said at a conference hosted by BelTA on 21 November.

According to her, the ticketing program is built in such a way as to sell as many tickets as possible. “All-event packages worth Br200 are currently on sale. Single-event tickets will go on sale soon. They will range in price from Br5 to Br50. We have the cheapest ticket program for such a big figure skating event,” underlined Yulia Komleva.

The organizers noted that they expect a large number of fans from foreign countries, including from Russia and Japan. “Despite the fact that this is the European event, we expect a large group of Japanese fans. Tickets will be in demand. Figure skating is very popular in Japan. Fans of this sport travel around the world to support their idols,” said the two-time Soviet champion in men's skating Alexander Vedenin.

The 2019 ISU European Figure Skating Championships will be held in Minsk Arena on 21-27 January. Fans will be able to see athletes in open training sessions on 21-22 January. The official competitive program will kick off on 23 January. The event will wrap up with a gala of winners and prize-winners.
