Lukashenko congratulates Belarus' gymnasts on medals at FIG World Cup in Uzbekistan

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated members of Belarus' national rhythmic gymnastics team Alina Harnasko, Anastasiia Salos, Hanna Haidukevich, Karyna Yarmolenka, Anastasiya Malakanava, Anastasiya Rybakova, Arina Tsitsilina and Hanna Shvaiba with their successful performance at the 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics FIG World Cup in Uzbekistan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“An array of medals won in tough competition with the leaders of world gymnastics is an excellent result,” the message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that, possessing brilliant skills and a distinctive style and led by experienced coaches the Belarusian gymnasts will be able to reach Olympic heights.

A reminder, Belarus won eight medals at the 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics FIG World Cup in Uzbekistan. Belarusian gymnasts graced the podium in individual and group events.
