MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Television broadcasting of the 2nd European Games 2019 was discussed at a meeting of the national organizing committee led by Belarus' Prime Minister Sergei Rumas, BelTA learned from the website of the government.
The organizing committee discussed the sale of media rights for the forthcoming sports event and accommodation of client groups, including fans and tourists. They also discussed catering service in the Athletes' Village and landscaping works along cycling lanes.
Minsk will host the 2nd European Games on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in 199 medal events in 15 sports. Competitions in nine sports will serve as qualifiers for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.More about Sport
