MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – A delegation of Belarus’ State Forensic Examination Committee (SFEC) headed by Chairman Aleksei Volkov held a working meeting with Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, BelTA learned from the SFEC.
Pham Minh Chinh praised the results of cooperation between Belarusian specialists and Vietnam’s Public Security Ministry, confirming that cooperation in security and law enforcement is a traditional area and one of the pillars of the strategic partnership between the two countries, to which both parties attach particular importance.
Members of the Belarusian delegation examined the organization of forensic activities in Vietnam at the regional level, advanced developments in law-enforcement support, digitalization of ongoing processes, and modernization of technical infrastructure.
The prime minister proposed intensifying cooperation in training Vietnamese undergraduate and graduate students, as well as in advanced training for Vietnamese forensic experts at educational institutions of the Belarusian State Forensic Examination Committee. He also suggested that Belarus send its forensic specialists to Vietnam for teaching and practical training, thereby creating conditions for the exchange of experience, new methods and technologies, and scientific materials.
Aleksei Volkov thanked the Vietnamese side for the warm welcome and stessed the long-standing effectiveness of bilateral cooperation, expressing readiness for further joint work for the benefit of both countries.
