MOSCOW, 23 March (BelTA) – A session of the Information Policy Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Mogilev on 31 March, the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia told BelTA.
Participants of the session will be informed about the Union State program on forming common principles of operation of the common market of communications and informatization for the sake of realizing the Supreme State Council's Ordinance No.6 of 4 November 2021 “On the main directions of realization of provisions of the Union State Foundation Treaty in 2021-2023”.
Participants of the session will also discuss the operation of Union State mass media and the main directions of development of mass media of the Union State of Belarus and Russia at present. Apart from that, the MPs will discuss the role of regional mass media in providing information support for the construction of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. They will also be made familiar with the experience Mogilev Oblast mass media accumulated in the course of covering integration processes.
The Union State MPs are also expected to meet with top officials of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Mogilev Oblast Council of Deputies. They will also visit the memorial complex Buinichi Field.
Representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry, the Russian Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Ministry, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Mogilev Oblast Council of Deputies, heads of mass media of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and mass media of Mogilev Oblast have been invited to participate in the session of the Information Policy Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
