MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – Over the last 24 hours the Polish side and the Lithuanian side only partially honored the agreements concerning truck passage across the border, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
At present some 1,000 semi-trucks are waiting for their turn to leave Belarus for the European Union. Border checkpoints are expected to let a number of trucks cross the border over a certain period of time. The lowest percentage of fulfillment of the truck passage agreements (49%) was registered at the Polish border checkpoint Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa on the Belarusian side) while the highest percentage of 105% was registered at the Latvian border checkpoint Silene (Urbany on the Belarusian side).
Trucks could leave Belarus for Ukraine without delays.
