Slow traffic possible at Belarusian-Lithuanian border on 5 April due to customs software update

GRODNO, 3 April (BelTA) – Lithuanian border checkpoints are scheduled for a software update on 5 April. The procedure may result in slow traffic clearance on the Lithuanian side of the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, representatives of the Grodno Regional Customs told BelTA.

According to the Lithuanian customs service, customs software will be updated in the border checkpoints Medininkai, Salcininkai, and Raigardas (Kamenny Log, Benyakoni, and Privalka on the Belarusian side) from 9:00 till 17:00 on 5 April. This is why the Lithuanian side may be slow in clearing trucks.

Truckers, who intend to cross the border at the time, are advised to take the information into account.
