Pashinyan welcomes decision of some EAEU countries to lift ban on entry of Armenian citizens

MINSK, 4 December (BelTA - ARMENRESS) – Armenia welcomes the decision of some EAEU member states to lift the ban on the entry of Armenian citizens, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said as he took part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

"At this difficult time for all of us, it is extremely important to find mutually acceptable solutions on all sensitive issues. Resuming passenger traffic and lifting the ban on entry of Armenian citizens to a number of EAEU countries remain important for us," Nikol Pashinyan said.

He noted that this year was especially difficult for Armenia. "But we have not reduced our involvement in cooperation and have been actively engaged in all the processes taking place in our integration space," the prime minister said.

Nikol Pashinyan noted that the coronavirus pandemic did not affect the work in the EAEU. "I hope that our further concerted actions against the coronavirus disease will lead to positive results soon," the Prime Minister said.
