
MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – The headquarters of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Moscow is hosting the first round of talks to discuss preparations for CSTO joint exercise on 1-3 April. The exercise is scheduled to take place in Belarus on 1-6 September 2025, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
Participating in the negotiations are representatives of the armed forces of CSTO member states, the CSTO Joint Staff, the CSTO Secretariat and other agencies. The parties are discussing the exercise concepts, selecting personnel for the command of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces and planning practical action scenarios.
This exercise will be one of the key operational and combat training events within the organization's framework this year.
