MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) – The minimum wage has been set at Br858 in Belarus as from 1 January 2026, the press service of the Belarusian Labor and Social Protection Ministry told BelTA.

According to the Labor and Social Protection Ministry, the minimum wage increased by Br132 or by 18.2% in comparison with the year 2025. The minimum wage must be used by employers as the bottom level for labor compensation. This social standard applies to any organizations, self-employed businessmen, and condominiums.

The minimum wage is guaranteed to all workers provided they perform their duties and is granted taking into account the amount of working hours. A collective bargain agreement may set a higher monthly minimum wage.
