MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) - Easter services took place in Orthodox churches across Belarus.
This year, Orthodox believers celebrate the Holy Resurrection of Christ on 12 April.
MINSK
An Easter service was held at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk on the night from Holy Saturday to the Holy Resurrection of Christ. The solemn service was led by Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.

On Easter night from 11 to 12 April, Archbishop Dimitri of Vitebsk and Orsha led a cross procession, the Easter Matins, and the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Vitebsk.

On the night of 11–12 April, a festive Easter service took place at St. Simeon Stylites Cathedral in Brest.
Believers gathered under the arches of the church to celebrate the Holy Resurrection of Christ. The solemn service was led by the cathedral’s clergy. The Easter Midnight Office, the cross procession, and the festive liturgy were accompanied by the chanting of the troparion “Christ is Risen from the Dead”.
