MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) - While appointing Andrei Lobovich as the Labor and Social Security Minister, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that this ministry must be visible, BelTA has learned.
“We need this ministry to be visible. I don't want to fault the women who have served as ministers so far, but they perhaps appeared somewhat modest. Maybe that's a good thing? This ministry needs to make its presence known. You appear to be a good fit. Yet, the priority is achieving results,” the Belarusian leader stated.
Addressing Andrei Lobovich, the president emphasized that he is now responsible for a very serious and crucial area. “Our priorities are oriented towards investing in human capital. Labor and social protection of the population - this is your priority," he said.
