MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) – As he authorized the appointment of executives in municipal authorities, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko reminded about the instruction to provide assistance to the countryside, BelTA has learned.
Speaking about Brest District, the head of state remarked that very little snow now remains in the area and there is no snow in some places already. “We will begin sowing very early and people in Brest will have to get involved bearing in mind the tasks that I formulated for people in Minsk on Saturday. Providing assistance is an instruction that concerns everyone,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
“We cannot do without you, without cities. You’ve taken virtually all the workforce from the countryside. Now it is necessary to help out in some places. It has to be done on time. Because if we miss something, then agriculture’s performance will drop,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
