Lukashenko shares one of his presidential principles with MAZ workers

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko shared one of his presidential principles with the workers of MAZ and other enterprises of the holding company on 21 January, BelTA correspondent reports.

The head of state noted that one should look at oneself before blaming someone for the problems or shifting the blame on another person.

“I always say: stand in front of a mirror and look at yourself. Ask yourself: what did you do? Is Valery [Ivankovich], MAZ Director General, to blame? Or is [Minsk Mayor Vladimir] Kukharev and [Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya] Kochanova, or the president to blame? Maybe it is your fault that your family does not live well? Maybe it is you who didn't study hard at school. Maybe you were sipping beer on a bench while someone else was burning the midnight oil studying and graduating from three universities. Why do you demand something from others? Take a look at yourself. That is my advice. It may seem unpopular in a presidential campaign, but, nevertheless, let us leave populism out. You should always look at yourself. This is also my principle,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
