Minsk National Airport holds winter spotting session for photographers

MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) - The event gathered aviation and photography enthusiasts not only from Belarus but also from the Russian Federation.

The spotters have visited Minsk National Airport before: the airport has been organizing such sessions since 2013. The current session is dedicated to the airport's 30th anniversary and brought together about 100 photographers.

Participants were granted safe access to the apron to observe aircraft taxiing, takeoffs, and landings, and were shown firefighting equipment used to ensure airport safety. For me, this is a lifelong hobby. I have visited 103 countries and about a thousand different airports," said one of the session participants, Dmitry Petrochenko, a seasoned spotter with 20 years of experience from Moscow.
