MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Imangali Tasmagambetov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Belarus highly appreciates your services to the the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which continues to be an integral element in maintaining peace, security and stability in the Eurasian space at a time of the tense military and political situation. I also appreciate your sensitivity to the matters of preserving, for present and future generations, the memory of the unparalleled courage of the multinational Soviet people who defeated Nazism,” the congratulatory message reads.
“I am convinced that your proactive position, high professionalism and rich life experience will continue to serve for the benefit of peace, tranquility and prosperity of our countries and peoples,” the head of state said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Imangali Tasmagambetov new successes in the responsible post of the CSTO secretary general, good health, happiness and prosperity.
