MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr
Lukashenko has expressed condolences to Prime Minister of the Republic
of Haiti Ariel Henry over a strong earthquake which claimed the lives of
many people, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian
leader.
“It is with deep pain that Belarusian people have learned the news about this terrible earthquake which claimed the lives of many people. We offer condolences to those who lost their relatives and homes because of the earthquake. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured, endurance and strength of spirit to the people of Haiti,” the message of condolences reads.
