ZHITKOVICHI, 7 November (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has instructed every official to take personal responsibility for expanding the country's export footprint, including in distant markets. He voiced this instruction during a working trip to Zhitkovichi District on 7 November, BelTA has learned
“Strategy is good. But today, tactics are what’s important so that we can actually sell our products,” the president said. “This is no time for grand plans. Our goal is simply to stay afloat, and for that, we need a tactical approach.”
He emphasized the need for concrete action, stating that every official responsible for cooperation with a particular country or region will be given a clear assignment.
The head of state is personally involved in this work during negotiations with foreign counterparts and visits to other countries. “The president has opened the door for you. So, walk through that door. What are you waiting for?! The time for concrete action has come,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
The president further advised enterprises to focus more on enhancing the quality of their goods. For some, he remarked, this is an opportune time, given that their export sales are not yet growing rapidly.
